Hi, I’m Alexis Herrera—a freelance creative, script, and copywriter.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, I studied Journalism and Creative Writing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I later earned a TV/Screenwriting certification from the University of California, Los Angeles, and am currently working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative & Scriptwriting at Full Sail University.

I have a passion for storytelling in all its forms, and have been working studiously as a freelance writer for over five years. Whether I’m crafting haunting short stories about cryptid creatures, weaving a heart-wrenching poem so prose it borders on pompous, or scripting goofy dialogue for a harebrained screenplay, I specialize in writing engaging, emotionally resonant content that connects with audiences.

With a strong foundation in literary and creative writing, I’ve explored a wide range of genres and formats. My work is driven by voice, tone, and atmosphere, and I pride myself on adapting to the unique demands of every project.

Beyond the creative world, I’m also skilled in copywriting and technical writing—producing clear, compelling content that informs, persuades, and delivers results. Whether you're looking for imaginative storytelling or practical communication, I bring both creativity and precision to the table.

When I’m not freelance writing, I’m usually working on personal projects—because even my breaks from writing tend to involve more writing.
